Podcasts

Very blessed to have two podcasts that I’m currently a part of!

They That Hope

“They That Hope” finds humor and hope in a crazy world. It is a conversation between myself and my good friend, Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR (who is president of Franciscan University of Steubenville). New episodes every Wednesday. You can watch these episodes on my YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

Happy Anniversary! They That Hope

Fr. Dave and Bob celebrate one year of They That Hope by doing what they always do: talking about sports, culture, and faith. Specifically, baseball, the Emmys, and St. Vincent de Paul.

Speaking with Deacons

I am SO excited to be a diaconal candidate for the Diocese of Steubenville (hopefully to be ordained November 20th, 2021). As part of my formation, I decided to have conversations with deacons or with people who can talk about important aspects of diaconal ministry. The podcast is for anyone who is ordained, in formation for, or just curious about the permanent diaconate in the Catholic Church. New episodes come out every other Monday. You can watch my interviews at my YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

The Diaconate of St. Francis with Dr. Alan Schreck Speaking with Deacons

There are many good historical reasons to think that St. Francis of Assisi was a deacon. But even if he wasn't, there are a lot of great spiritual reasons deacons should take him as an example! Dr. Alan Schreck, professor of Theology at Franciscan University and expert in Church history, shares some important "diaconal" qualities of St. Francis.
